Magic or Science…is there a difference? Discover the science behind a variety of “magic” tricks.  Make water “disappear” and “reappear”.  Fill a giant air bag with one breath.  Write on color-changing paper and “erase” your mistakes.  Meet a favorite TV character and use science to detect the impostor. Finish with each child making Mad Science SLIME! to take home. Explore the science of light and colors with “rainbow” glasses.  Learn the secret ingredients that give fireworks their colors.  See miniature lightning and watch a light bulb light without plugging it in.  Make bubbling “potions” with dry ice and see the “shivering quarter”.  Finish with each child making  SLIME! to take home. 

 

The birthday child receives a complimentary Mad Science Poster with space for all the party guests to sign.

 

Note:  All we need for the parties is a table for set-up, a little hot water and an electrical outlet nearby.  Some of the special effects activities require a darkened area however, other equally entertaining activities may be substituted.
