FANTASTIC FLYERS
The Wright Brothers would be proud as we follow in their footsteps and learn the fundamental principles of flight. Build different types of stunt planes and gliders. Experiment with trick planes and have a contest to see who can build the farthest flying glider! You’ll be Top Gun after this class!
HARNESSING HEAT
Witness a paper rocket launch while learning the properties of heat. Take part in making an underwater volcano erupt! Become involved in a BOILING HOT race! Change the states of matter, turn solid candy into floss and spin your very own cone of cotton candy that you can eat!
DRY ICE
Explore the 3 states of matter. Turn water to ice in 30 seconds, build a giant bubbling potion, carbonate plain drinking water and create the same awesome some illusions used in the movies. Take home a cool color changing object you used during the workshop!
